Starting a writing journey
Every journey begins with a first step.
I’m a writer.
It might not seem like it, especially since this is the first post of the journey. I’ve been writing almost everyday for the last few years. Most of the things I’ve written have just been in private with a select group of friends, but the season has come to step out and share with the wider community. Many of my stories have been sharing the amazing moments of what God has been doing in my life and the lives of the people I encounter. I had a wild encounter with the Lord a few years ago, and it caused everything to change in my life.
Convinced
I’m more convinced than ever that God loves us, and He wants to be intimately involved in our lives. I’m also convinced that Jesus is the answer for our lives, and that if something isn’t directly answered in Scripture, Jesus has the answer if we’ll go to Him.
The Next Season
I plan to spend the next season sharing with you the wonderful stories and possibilities of following Jesus and how following Jesus will radically transform your life for the better.
Everyone has problems.
Everyone has a difficult life in one way or another. You could have lost someone. You could have lost something. You could be lost yourself in the darkness of life. You might have heard of Jesus. You might have heard that He has answers, but no one has ever really shown you. You’ve fought to live, but it’s been rough.
I understand.
I get it.
You’re not alone.
Stick Around
Stick around for what’s coming. I’m going to learn to write better and share with you the hope you’ve been longing for. I’m going to share stories that you’ve know were real and possible, but you’ve never seen it.
You’ve longed for hope. You’ve longed for a future.
I’ve found it in a person.
His name is Jesus.
You are loved. He is near. You are not alone.
